Week 6: Living the dream
It's official: I have become if not actually a professional northerner, then a seriously committed amateur one. This week I've been invited to take part in a writing project (which I'll tell you about after Christmas) as the organiser had spotted what she called my 'dedication to the north'. Excellent. I await the call from Twinings concerning my dedication to Earl Grey.

Other than that, the week has followed what is becoming my general pattern: a couple of submissions, a bit of work on the semi-rural fantasy novel, a bit of catching up on my reading, lots of stretching and yoga to sort my back out. Oh, and eating mince pies, obviously.
Ilkley Writers are crystallising ideas for the Chapel FM Writing on Air festival, with a couple of us heading over to Seacroft again this evening for further discussions (aka chat). I'll be summarising our writing year tomorrow over at the Ilkley Writers blog which we've been neglecting for a while (too full of other exciting projects, as you'll see tomorrow).
In the meantime have a read of some poems from Guernsey buses - the last 3 are by my friend Roz.
